Smile X Technologies uses USPS and UPS for inbound (customer to us) and outbound (us to customer) shipments. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed by the carriers or Smile X Technologies.

ALL REQUESTS FOR ANY EXPEDITED SHIPPING WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL COST TO CUSTOMER. THE PIRCES LIST WE PROVIDE IS ONLY FOR STANDARD, PRIORITY AND UPS GROUND.

We process repairs promptly upon receipt, but total turnaround does NOT includes carrier transit time.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Smile Extension provides mail-order retainer repair, replacement in some cases, and new fabrication services. Due to the personalized, custom-fit, and hygiene-sensitive nature of dental type devices and repairs, most services and products are non-refundable except in specific limited cases outlined below.
General Policy – No Warranty for Standard Repairs or Custom orders not from a doctor
Repairs of customer-provided retainers (not originally fabricated by us) are final once completed and shipped. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for repaired items due to change of mind, fit issues, or preference.
Custom-designed or newly fabricated retainers (made to your specifications/impressions) are personalized products and are non-returnable/non-refundable except for defects caused by us.
We do not offer warranties, guarantees, or ongoing durability assurances on any repaired retainers (especially those not originally made by Smile X Technologies/ SmileExtension). Retainers are subject to normal wear, patient use, and individual oral factors beyond our control.
Limited Exceptions – When We May Issue a Refund or Remake
Item Arrives Beyond Repair (Unrepairable on Arrival): If we receive your retainer and determine it cannot be safely or effectively repaired (e.g., excessive damage, missing parts), we will:
Refund the full repair fee (minus any non-refundable processing/inspection fees if applicable).
Return the retainer to you at our expense via standard USPS shipping.
No remake or credit provided in these cases.
Defect or Damage Caused by (Outbound Shipping must be filed by customer with the shipping entity.

We will review and help you with information filing a claim with carrier. (Note) Carriers insurance can take up to 90 days in some instances for claim to process.
Other Cases: No refunds for normal wear, improper care/use, loss of fit over time, or issues arising after delivery/use. We are not responsible for inbound shipping damage/loss to us or our shipping loss to you

We offer a 3 business day rush service for an additional fee of $60. This means that we will prioritize your repair and aim to have it completed within 3 business days from the time we receive it. Please note that this does not include shipping time, so you'll need to factor that in as well. If you're in a hurry to get your device back, this option may be a good choice for you
